DroneMed was built by people who have worked at the sharp end of emergency response — as HEMS pilots, flight operations directors, regulatory specialists, and clinical leads. We understand what the system needs because we have operated within it.
We are not a tech company that discovered healthcare. We started with the clinical challenge — out-of-hospital cardiac arrest — mapped every element of the emergency pathway from call to patient outcome, and built a system designed to work within the regulatory parameters. That system is now being developed for deployment across emergency services and first responder organisations in the UK and internationally.

Charlotte's background spans business strategy within cardiology, HEMS sector engagement, and public-private business development. She founded DroneMed to bring aviation, healthcare, and regulatory expertise together in service of one mission: saving more lives from cardiac arrest. Charlotte leads strategy, government and clinical engagement, and investor relations.
Flight Operations Director
Craig is a highly experienced NHS and HEMS paramedic, as well as a HEMS and National Police Aviation Service (NPAS) helicopter pilot. He brings deep expertise in dispatch-integrated emergency aviation operations, safety case development, and flight operations governance — and leads DroneMed's operational architecture and flight systems integration.
Expertise spans aviation regulatory frameworks across the emergency response sector. He brings direct knowledge of CAA standards (including, HEMS and UAS), HEMS flight operating requirements, AOC holder and the UK SORA methodology/State Aircraft regulatory pathways through which DroneMed works towards.
